01 Who processes your data
weebs is the controller of the personal data of the people who use the platform: sellers, creators and end clients who pay or send requests through it.
This policy explains what data we collect, what we use it for and what control you have over it.
02 Data we collect
Depending on how you use the platform, we process these categories of data:
- Account: name, email, chosen role and sign-in identifier. If you sign in with Google, we receive your public name, email and profile picture.
- Activity: jobs, submissions, projects, requests, comments and notifications you generate while using the service.
- Payouts: balances, transactions and the withdrawal methods you set up (PayPal email, bank details or USDT address).
- End clients: the name and email the seller provides when posting a job, and the project’s payment and request history.
- Minimal technical data: IP address and request data, used for security and to prevent abuse.
03 End client data
The end client’s contact details are provided by the seller, who is responsible for having obtained them lawfully and for informing their client. We use them only to process payments, send notices about the site’s status and handle their change requests.
Creators don’t see the client’s name or email: only the project title, the site and the requests the client sends. Likewise, sellers and creators identify each other by an alias.
04 What we use it for
We process your data to:
- Provide the service: create your account, post jobs, verify sites, manage projects and requests.
- Process payments, split revenue and handle withdrawals.
- Send you operational notifications by email and within the platform. You can turn off non-essential emails in your settings.
- Prevent fraud and abuse and keep the service secure.
- Comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.
05 Who we share it with
We don’t sell your data. We only share it with providers needed to deliver the service:
- Stripe: payment processing, subscriptions, billing portal and connected accounts for withdrawals. Card details are handled by Stripe directly and never reach our servers.
- Google Firebase: user authentication and storage of data and files (for example, screenshots attached to a request).
- Transactional email provider: sending notifications and notices.
07 Retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. Records of payments, splits and withdrawals are kept for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law, even after the account is closed.
Change requests and their screenshots are kept for as long as the project exists. Earnings are held for 7 days before becoming available, and the data tied to that period is kept to resolve refunds or disputes.
08 Security
All communication is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to data is restricted by role: each user only sees the information they need, and payout details are shown masked.
09 Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its processing, or request its portability. You can edit some of your data directly from your settings.
For any other request, reply to one of the emails we send you from the platform. If you believe we haven’t handled your request properly, you can file a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
10 Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll let you know by email or within the platform before the change takes effect.
